A Better You Day Spa & Salon is all about you!  We want to provide you with the highest standards
of service and personal care, in the most professional environment so that you will return and recommend us again and again!

Reservation Policy
Spa/Salon services are available by appointment on a daily basis.  We recommend calling as far in advance as possible to ensure availability.  A credit card is required to reserve all services.

If you have an appointment, this time is reserved exclusively for you.  In the event that you must cancel your appointment, we require a 24 hour advance notice for all spa/salon services.  
Cancellations of less than 24 hours will be charged 50% of the service(s) booked. No shows will be charged 100% of the service(s) booked.  Groups of three or more will be required to give a seven day cancellation or reschedule notice or the above fees and gift certificate policy will be initiated.

Late Arrival Policy
Arriving late will deprive you of valuable service time.  As a courtesy to the next guest, your treatment will end at the time originally scheduled.  

Cell Phones 
Out of consideration for A Better You guests cell phone use is not permitted in the spa.  Our front desk staff will assist you if needed.

Pricing Policy
All prices quoted are subject to change without notice.  All product purchases are final; no exchanges or refunds.  We do not give cash refunds for services.   A Better You promotions are not valid in combination with other discounts, offers or coupons. Gift cards and pre-paid appointments may not be purchased or used in conjunction with any special offer, discount or coupon. Other restrictions may apply.

Children Under 18 Policy
Due to liability reasons and to ensure a relaxing experience for all of our clients, we do not allow children under the age of 12 to accompany parents to spa or salon appointments. We understand that childcare is not always available and will be more than happy to reschedule an appointment to a time that meets your needs.  As always, we do require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule in order to avoid fees.

Hand and Foot Treatment Policy
The TN State Board Rules & Regulations #0440-2-.12 states that no patron with definite open sores, exhibiting symptoms of infectious or contagious disease or disorders of the skin, or parasitic infestations will be served in a shop or school unless written permission from a physician has been secured. Therefore, if our licensed technicians suspect a nail or skin fungus or other contagious or communicable disease, we have the right to refuse service.

Hair Color Policy
We offer 100% guarantee on all color services within the first 5 days after service were performed.  All guarantees will be determined by stylists.  A Better You  will not be liable nor redo hair color that has been done outside of our salon.  Corrective color usually requires more than one service to achieve desired results.  Because of the nature of home-coloring products, we cannot guarantee color services if the client has previously had color done outside of our salon.  We do not give cash refunds for any hair services.

Waxing Policy
A Better You is not responsible for sensitive skin or the tearing of the skin, due to excessive waxing or the use of Retin-A or similar products.  All waxing services have a 3 day guarantee.  If you find missed hair please give us a call.  

Gift Certificates
Gift certificates may be redeemed towards full priced services or retail products.  Gift certificates must be presented at time of appointment and will not be replaced if lost or stolen.  A gift certificate may not be purchased or redeemed in conjunction with any special offers, discounts or promotions.  Gift certificates are non-refundable. Gift certificates and gift cards are not valid in combination or in conjunction with the purchase of any discounted product or service.  

Lost Items
A Better You is not responsible and cannot be held liable for any personal items lost, stolen, or damaged while a client receives services at the spa.  We will not hold personal belongings at the front desk for longer than 24 hours.

Privacy Policy
At A Better You we are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect about you to process requests and to provide you with additional information.

What information do we collect? How do we use it?

When you sign up for our newsletter, we need to know your name and email address. This allows us to process and fulfill your request. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others.
