A Better You Day Spa & Salon is all about you! We want to provide you with the highest standards of service and personal care, in the most professional environment so that you will return and recommend us again and again!
Reservation Policy
Spa/Salon services are available by appointment on a daily basis. We recommend calling as far in advance as possible to ensure availability. A credit card, gift certificate number(or receipt if purchased online) is required to reserve all spa/salon services.
Cancellation Policy
If you have an appointment, this time is reserved exclusively for you. In the event that you must cancel your appointment, we require a 24-hour advance notice for all spa/salon services. A 48-hour notice is required for hair extensions and Japanese straightening.This is a courtesy to our staff members, and allows us to better accommodate the needs of other clients.
Cancellations of less than 24-hours will be charged a $25 fee. No shows will be charged $50 fee. Gift certificates will be reduced to half value with less than 24 hours notice and no shows will be reduced to zero value. Groups of three or more will be required to give a seven day cancellation or reschedule notice or the above fees and gift certificate policy will be initiated.
Late Arrival Policy
Arriving late will deprive you of valuable service time. As a courtesy to the next guest, your treatment will end at the time originally scheduled. Late arrivals may be rescheduled, or the remainder of the service time may be used at full price.
Cell Phones & Pagers
Out of consideration for ABU guests, please mute pagers. Cell phone use is not permitted in the spa. Our front desk staff will assist you if needed.
Pricing Policy
All prices quoted are subject to change without notice. All product purchases are final; no exchanges or refunds. We do not give cash refunds for services. Requests for services in the same room will be an additional fee.
Hair Color Policy
We offer 100% guarantee on all color services within the first week after services were performed. All guarantees will be determined by stylists. A Better You will not be liable nor redo hair color that has been done outside of our salon. Corrective color usually requires more than one service to achieve desired results. Because of the nature of home-coloring products, we cannot guarantee color services if the client has previously had color done outside of our salon. We do not give cash refunds for any hair services.
Waxing Policy
A Better You Salon & Day Spa is not responsible for sensitive skin or the tearing of the skin, due to excessive waxing or the use of Retin-A or similar products.
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates may be redeemed for services or retail products. Gift certificates must be presented at time of appointment and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. A gift certificate may not be purchased in conjunction with any special offer or discounts. Gift Certificates are non-refundable.
